Running Prescan – Errors & Resolutions

I came across two great posts this evening about the WSS 3.0 Prescan.exe tool. This tool is required when performing and assists when performing upgrades from WSS 2.0.
The first post was by Joel Olesan outlining the benefits of running Prescan even if you are not looking to upgrade in the near future. It will assist you in making decisions going forward.
This second is a must have by William Baer describing some errors and resolutions after running the Prescan.exe utility in your WSS 2.0 environments. This information will be very handy to people diagnosing Prescan errors.
