SPD WorkFlows – Access Denied

Posted by Clayton James on August 27, 2008

I deployed (to test environment) a SPD workflow recently on a custom list. All was working well under my Admin account (this is why you should test using real accounts), however when I deployed to our test environment users were recieving the “Access Denied” screen even though they had contributor rights to the list.

I came across this post (post: Andre) which provided some information which I followed.
http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/sharepointworkflow/thread/b533cfa5-e858-4ff9-bd0d-96d19946b789/

It stated that I should Publish the files to a local/network drive. I did this and and wholla….it worked. Go figure..

There is another post (Vansen) that offers a solution which I also completed. Might need both.
